Piko 52774 – BR 232 Erfurter Bahn Service, era VI, DC

With the BR 232 of the Erfurter Bahnservice GmbH, PIKO offers another highly detailed model. The PIKO locomotive convinces by the successful mold construction. The PIKO models of the DR 132 or 232 series are characterized by the finest painting and printing, free-standing handle bars, a zinc die-cast frame and a powerful five-pole motor, which in combination with two balanced flywheel masses guarantees balanced running characteristics. Lighting is provided by LEDs. The cab lighting and the tail light can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model has two traction tires that sit in a diagonal arrangement on the inner axles of the two bogies. The power is drawn from all of the wheels. The model is supplied with a PluX22 interface, a sound retrofit with the largest possible speaker is prepared.
