Wills SS73 – Timber yard

When timber was not such an expensive commodity, it was common to find small timber yards surrounded by wood laid down to season. It was a time when pine and plywood were a cheap alternative to old solid woods imported from around the world. Many yards were located next to the station, with their own siding for unloading the timber. Area; 131 x 70mm.
